Kofi Appiah-Kubi was born to the Nabikiyre Royal family of Bechem in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. He trained as a professional teacher at the famous Wesley College in Kumasi, worked in Ghana for sometime before migrating to Canada. He arrived in Toronto in April, 1987 and has since been helping the Toronto Ghanaian Community with his persuasive voice as the Master of Ceremony (M.C) hosting numerous funerals, weddings, naming and birthday parties organized with the municipality.
Appiah-Kubi is an Elder of the church of Pentecost in Canada, Brampton Assembly. He also serves as a member on the current Board of Advisors for the Ghanaian Canadian Association of Ontario (GCAO) headquarters in Toronto.
In private life, Elder Appiah-Kubi works as a letter carrier at Canada Post. He is married to a beautiful wife named Regina with 6 children. He started working as a Radio Presenter with Sankofa Radio in Toronto in November 2004. His deep voice proclaims the word of God like a pastor, his stern voice rebukes like a father and his vibrating voice entertains like a singer every Sunday morning at 8 am when he takes the airwaves of Sankofa Radio Toronto.
